I have watched part of the first episode and all I can say is that the animation has improved a lot from the prequel, but I don´t really know too much about the story line yet. This sucks, I haven´t finished second season and a third season is coming out, omg >.<;; I must catch up ASP...
It's a spinoff of Higurashi no Naku koro ni. The novel of Umineko no Naku Koro ni has been out for many years, but anime took so long to make.
ResponderEliminarIt has no correlation with the story of Higurashi, so you can go ahead and just watch it without an issue. (Although it's better if you already know the storyline of Higurashi, because it makes some funny references to it)
